What is a Sammich? According to the Urban Dictionary

"Sammich is a term reserved for only the holiest and mightiest of all sandwiches. A Sammich is a true work of culinary art; A feast on a bun, if you will. A sammich is not made of the best ingredients; it is made of the "Right" ingredients! It needs the right combination of meats, cheese(s), the right sauce(s), right veggies and the right bread!"

All of our igredients are fresh, we slice all of our meats by hand, pressure cook our chicken and pork! We bake our own bread! Everything we make is in house and fresh with our Sammich Kings top secret ingredients and most importantly with LOVE!

Our Story

Established in 2019.

In East Providence, R.I. there lacks a variety of fresh food options. Needing a crisp selection, good portions and accommodating choices that are enticing enough for everyone! Thus bringing Fork N Sammich King into the Townie community seems necessary. Fork N Sammich is a Small Business that is owned and operated by a local family in The Townie Community. Mr. Timothy Rison III and his wife Mrs. Brenda Rison. Mr. and Mrs. Rison, Through trials and tribulations of Fork N Sammich a King has been born.

The name Fork N Sammich King comes with Royal knowledge of how we serve our food. Not just any food tossed together with just any ingredients. It's a mix of the right ingredients and the perfect sauce pressed between our deliciously freshly baked breads. Like in a game of chess everything we make is strategic. The idea is that the portion will be so big you will need a fork!

We will not only be the best Fork N restaurant in East Providence, yet we will strive to be the best casual quick serve sandwich restaurant in the world. Our goal is to change the sandwich game into the Sammich game. We would like to serve our customers as fast as McDonalds but as fresh as a home cooked meal.

On board we have enthusiastic, friendly, polite and trustworthy staff working hard - helping to serve and please our customers. Without our community and our customers our business could not and does not exist! In succeeding we believe in fostering a professional environment for our guests as well as employees. Everyone coming into Fork N Sammich is family. Thus said, when hiring we will look to hardworking people who want to help build the Sammich Kingdom.

Being family oriented and involved in the Townie community, we are pleased to give back where we can; education, elderly, catering, veterans, our local police and more. We strive to create a family-friendly, fresh-homestyle but quick serve experience. Fork N Sammich will beat competitors and other local sandwich shops with fresh food, a positive vibe and family reeling atmosphere.

If that's not enough to set us apart from other restaurants we bake our own bread in house daily from scratch, we make our own cookies and bread pudding as well as cook and slice our own meats and cheese. We make our sauces and pressure cook our pork and chicken. All our food is made from scratch with recipes from Mr. Rison, his mother Lisa Rison and Aunt Dawn Soares. Warming Mr. and Mrs. Risons heart is that their children take an interest in culinary, sports, the arts and entrepreneurship.

Mr and Mrs Rison are very family oriented with their five children which all help out at Fork N Sammich. They love that their business is owned and operated by family, Mr. Rison’s Mother and Aunt as well as two brothers also help operate the day to day business. Without their faith in God and Love in everything they do Fork N Sammich couldn't exist.

Mr. Rison is a proud Townie raised in East providence, excited to share his dream and vision with the community.
